On this page we will have care tips for all different types of plants that are suitable for are Tucson region. I will spotlight different plants for each season when they are most popular. This Season's plant is: Pansies. Pansies are great accent to any garden they come an array of colors such as yellow, purples, burgundy and blues. They are an annual and love the colder temperatures. The only last here in Tucson during the colder months and will die off as we get warmer. They look great in containers or in flower beds. There is another variety of Pansies called Violas which look like a miniature version of the Pansies. Plant Care Planting: They can be planted in the ground or in containers but give them well drained soil. Water : Water regularly since they are annuals with small roots Pruning: No pruning required replace as temperatures warm up. Feeding: Most do not require anything special but an all purpose fertilizer will help with the blooming.
